Maddie Eastman, Owner of Cosmic Canine
Hi, I’m Maddie Eastman, the owner of Cosmic Canine! My passion for dogs started with my own journey alongside my dog, Ivy.
I have always been involved with and passionate about dogs, and I’ve been working with them professionally in a training setting for the past six years. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in various environments, including dog daycares, training facilities, kennels, and shelters. My involvement in the world of dog training goes beyond my business—I actively participate in personal protection, protection sports, and other activities with my own dogs.
My Mission and Past Experience
Ivy truly inspired me to dive deeper into dogs, their behavior, and training. When I first got her, she was extremely reactive to other dogs and animals. Through obedience and training, our bond grew stronger—far beyond what I could have ever imagined. She is my heart and soul dog. I’m grateful for her every day, and I dedicate my life to helping others build that same relationship and bond through obedience, whether their dogs are troubled or just a little ill-mannered. Ivy is so important to me and such an inspiration that she even became the face of our logo!
Training and spending time with my personal dogs is one of my greatest joys. Gremlin, my 1-year-old German Shepherd, is currently in training for protection, service dog work, sports, and more. Ivy, my 8-year-old American Bully, used to train in protection sports but is now a retired, wonderful companion who loves to hike and hang out. Rocky, my 6-year-old German Shepherd, is a service dog in training for protection and sports, and he’s also an excellent hiking buddy.
I love taking my dogs everywhere I possibly can whenever I have the chance. Whether it’s hiking, training, or simply spending quality time together, they are a huge part of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
